Perioscopy - The Vision of Revolutionary Care
The fascinating future of preventative dentistry and non-surgical periodontics can be seen through the tiny lens of a Dental Endoscope or Perioscope. This incredible technology allows hygienists to play a key role in creating optimal oral health through 'enhanced vision' using powerful subgingival magnification and illumination.
This valuable three hour presentation will explore the many uses of the Perioscope in any practice. Topics to be covered include the following: a definition of the parameters for the clinical application of the dental endoscope in any practice, including therapeutic and diagnostic uses, an exploration of proven protocols for achieving consistently great results, current and future research in Perioscopy, a demonstration of intriguing case studies, live endoscopic image interpretation, and fees and insurance codes for perioscopy.
